Slash key no longer reveals mask

This can't be an intentional update, so I'm posting as a bug....
When using the Hue/Sat adjustment layer, I want to view the mask as I've always been able to do using the "\" key. Since updating, it temporarily resets the adjustment. There is a hide/reveal button already in the adjustment pane. There is the ability to turn the layer on/off. Why would anyone need this?

How do I correct this?

You can use Shift + \ to show the mask
Edit: This is on Windows - Mac may be different

Yeah, I'm finding this quite annoying. It goes against the paradigm of what the "\" does for other color correction tools, and how these tools operated in the past. This is confusing and slows things down. My team is complaining about this.

THANK YOU!

The workaround of pressing shift with it has helped but no less annoying as this is not how the rest of the program works.

I just tested this on the latest Photoshop version 26.6.1 running on macOS 15.5, and the \ key is working as expected to reveal the mask.
In addition to Dave's suggestion, this issue on your end might be due to third-party application interference affecting keyboard shortcut inputs. Here’s what you can try:
1. Close other running apps and then check if the \ key works again in Photoshop.
2. Restart Photoshop and test again.
3. Boot into macOS Safe Mode (Apple menu > Restart while holding Shift) and launch only Photoshop. See if the \ key functions correctly there.
4. Gradually open other applications you usually run to identify if one of them is interfering with Photoshop’s shortcuts.

Let me know how it goes. Happy to help further!

Very interesting! I will definitely try this.

Maybe 90% of all my work is done on the keyboard with key commands for everything beyond all the defaults. This is the first time I've experienced any issue with a key command (especially a default) and it's the only one. So if it is other programs interfering (apps running are Chrome, Preview, Illustrator, and Slack), I have nothing new besides the PS update so I still stand by the thought that this is a flaw with the update.

But will definitely investigate what you suggested. Thanks!

I am on Mac and this works. Maybe someone has an idea how I can change this so the \ works as it does for all other adjustment layers.

I don't know how to change it, but here on Windows, Shift+\ works on other adjustment layer masks too.
