Smart filters fail to render in video export

Guest

Hi! I am creating some documention of a exhibition and have imported a image, then on top 3 videos that I have all made smart objects. With perspective warp I have edited the videos to fit the source image. It looks perfect in Photoshop even with playback.

However, when exporting/rendering video it removes the smart filters resetting the videos transformations I have done. Does anyone know why this is happening, and is there a way of fixing it? I tried converting to frame animation and export as images and that seemed to work but I really do not want to do that for the whole video (07:00 min).

Thank you

Having same exact problem. Video smart objects with smart filter/perspective warp looks perfect in PS, but they come out totally reset in the rendered video

To avoid blurry text when saving images, use a high-resolution, lossless format like PNG whenever possible, and be mindful of compression and scaling settings. By following these guidelines and adjusting the settings in your image editing software, you can ensure that text remains clear and sharp in your saved images.

It sounds like you're having trouble with smart filters not appearing correctly in your video exports. This issue can be frustrating, but let's try to troubleshoot it. Here are some steps you can take:

  1. Check Software Updates: Ensure that your video editing software is up to date. Sometimes, bugs related to rendering and exporting are fixed in newer versions.
  2. Render Preview: Before exporting, render a preview of your video within the editing software. This can help identify if the smart filters are applying correctly.
  3. Export Settings: Review your export settings carefully. Ensure that the settings are configured to include all effects and filters, especially smart filters.
  4. Smart Filter Settings: Double-check the settings of your smart filters. Sometimes, parameters like blending modes or opacity settings can affect how they appear in the final export.
  5. Software Support: If the issue persists, consult the user manual or online support resources for your specific video editing software. There might be specific settings or known issues related to smart filters.
  6. Trial and Error: Try exporting a shorter segment of your video with different settings to isolate the problem. This can help pinpoint whether the issue lies with a specific part of the video or the export settings in general.
  7. Hardware Considerations: If your computer hardware is struggling with processing the smart filters during export, it might cause glitches. Ensure your system meets the recommended specifications for your editing software.
  8. File Format: Experiment with different file formats for export (e.g., MP4, MOV, etc.) to see if the issue persists across formats.
  9. External Plugins or Scripts: If you're using any third-party plugins or scripts for smart filters, ensure they are compatible with your video editing software version.

By systematically checking these points, you should be able to identify the cause of the issue with your smart filters not rendering correctly in video exports. If the problem persists after trying these steps, reaching out to technical support for your editing software might provide further insights or solutions.
