2 days ago my Smart Portrait Nueral Filter started showing the exact same face any time I used it, regardless of age, gender, face angle, expression. The resulting image is poor quality and looks a bit freaky. Is this my end or an issue on Adobe's side?

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. This is a strange issue that I have heard of; let's try to resolve it.
Which version of Photoshop are you using? Is the graphics processor enabled?
You may try to reset Photoshop preferences back to defaults and check if that helps. Here's the article for the steps: https://adobe.ly/3ceal5t.
Also, back up the existing Photoshop preferences if you have any custom brushes, action, and workspace: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

This model seems to be trained on superman characters...
I recognize Brainiac, Jor-El, and Zod.
In all seriousness though, I've had a similar issue a few months ago.
Probably a coincidence but after removing all scripts from the Photoshop script folder, restarting photoshop, putting back the scripts, and restarting photoshop again the problem stopped.

So completely weird, it started working again. Wonder if it was just a bad internet connection?
Or did General Zod have something to do with it?

I'm sure General Zod was watching.
Do you remember doing anything particular/unusual? Could be helpful for future reference. 🙂

Unfortunately no. I followed a few other posts...
- Removed all filters then re-downloaded them - didn't fix it.
- Removed and rebuilt setting - didn't fix it.
- Checked scratch disk had ample space - it did
- even tried running Photoshop Beta - Same result
Then the next morning it started working again.
There wasn't anything at all that stood out. Sorry to be no help at all.
