Snap Adjustment Panels Away from Artwork

Please can we "Snap Adjustment Panels Away from Artwork"?

I edit lots of photos in Photoshop and adjustment panels often open over the artwork / image that I'm trying to adjust. If this could automatically 'snap' away from the artwork / image it would be ideal.

At the moment, each time I select an adjustment, such as Image > Adjustments > Levels > the panel often ends up over the top of my artwork. I know it can be moved, but when I'm adjusting lots and working with clients, the whole process appears slow and clunky - to have to manually move this everytime on vairous panels, such as Brightness / Contrast, Vibrance etc is slow and irritating. The adjustment panel often doesn;t appear in the same place either - so I'm constantly dragging them out of view. Its not very efficient or smooth.

Please let me know if this can be a quick fix. Thanks

Well, the basic idea is to dock the panels to a screen edge. Panels, or any other screen element, will open wherever they were last closed. So if you closed it in the middle of the screen, that's where it will reopen. This is hard-wired in the operating system and not something you can choose. But there's lots of things you can do with panels if look in Preferences. You can have auto-collapsing iconic panels, for instance. Click to open, click outside to collapse. They will also open automatically if anything happens that activates the panel.
