Some help with extruded layers please

Hello. I am new to photoshop and  would like some help with 3D images. I followed a Youtube guide to make a two sided postcard but there is no extrusion to it and I can not seem to find exactly what I want in any tutorials... Maybe I am using the wrong terminology in my searches.  Can someone tell me how I can create basically the same as the attached file but with a slight extrusion please?

Thank you

Do you want to creat an object that you can orientate in 3D space, or just give it the illusion of depth?  If the latter, then select the parts and copy to a new layer, and use Layer Styles > Bevel & Emboss

Hi thanks for the replies... I wanted to create an object I can orientate in 3D space. Maybe i should look into other softwares as I'm attempting to create content I can use to do some interesting things with using java. I am currently building a site so I started learning css html and php a couple of monthys ago. Now I need to start learning java and create the 3D images for the effects  I am looking to create.

Blender is free, and there are lots of videos on how to use it.  It's what a lot of people use before applying texture with the Substance apps.

3D is deprecaated and being removed from Photoshop. It has not worked relaiably for some time.

If you must use Photoshop, try following your tutorial using v 22.2 which was the last version for 3D. Personally, I would advise moving to other 3D software  such as 3D Sampler for that task, or Blender.
