Something for the Weekend - Part 183 - Kiss and make up.

I was amazed at some of the inventive ideas we got in our previous, cabbage, challenge. This weekend I have a simple object, I wonder what creative images you can make from it.

The “rules”:

* Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry.

* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc

* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".

* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!

* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only. Sorry to emphasise this, but the image is not for use elsewhere.

To download the image below, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).

When posting back your image – please use the blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.

Have fun.

Dave

Borrowed my wife's lightsaber today, but it doesn't seem to work.

On a slighly off topic, I see the Adobe forum has changed the Like option to Upvote. I liked having Likes. Upvote sounds more formal. Anyway, will continue to like SFTW posts with an Upvote.

Jacob, this reminds me that there is a saying 'Lipstick on a pig'.

The phrase to put "lipstick on a pig" means making superficial or cosmetic

changes to a product in a futile effort to disguise its fundamental failings.

I have always found the general meaning of that saying unfair, Trevor (I believe Miss P agrees).

This post related to another saying (the short form being "pigs might"),

led to my suggestiing a touchdown here for the actual thing.

Does that help make the car go faster or look more dangerous? 🙂

It used to be a thing.  I believe this is a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado.   There's an art deco SiFi movie vibe to it.   Who was that B&W SiFi movie hero who had an art deco ray gun?
