Thanks to all who took part in our last, dragons lair, challenge.
This week we find ourselves on a quiet day on the mountainside at Aonach Mor. All very peaceful until....
Well that is for you to decide.

Volcanoes or smoke signals? Either way it does not look good news 🙂

Nicely done James. It reminds me of an old film print.

I'm just worried about the Egg MacMuffin that is still in the bag. Pranks like that can backfire on a person.

Na, no worries... it's just an empty lunch bag from the bakery around the corner 😂

No worries: Starbucks' heydays are over. Locations here in Vancouver have closed all over the place in the past few years, and singular coffee/tea shops are making a remarkable comeback 😉

There use to be a lot here in Sydney Australia, then most closed. There are now about 15 across Sydney. So not a major coffee place in this part of the world. We have lots of small, good coffee shops 🙂

Haha - I wonder how those stuck in the gondola reach the ladder though. 🙂
A few years ago, I went up in a Simon platform on a fire engine. At its maximum height the view was great, although it did sway a fair bit. I noticed some steps on the arms and asked about them. The fireman told me they were there so that, if the platform got stuck, you could climb out of the basket and down the arms. Gulp! Fortunately, it did not get stuck.

Aye Dave, this is Scotland, so it's more cost effective to have two emergency ladders than have an escape rope ladder or aeroplane slide in each gondala !
Did once get rescued off a broken down rollercoaster car at the top of the first lift.
It was a bit like your Simon escape solution!

So as tends to happen, someone stole the ladder. Fortunately Park Ranger Blondin was on hand to effect a rescue.

I am more worried about the trapped ones, when handed the pole one by one. Blondin can dance along without it.
Surely, bringing them back in a wheelbarrow or just carrying them on his back as in the old days would be a greater help.

I was wondering if that person on the way to rescue others from the cable car.
