Something for the Weekend - Part 219 - Sold a lemon!

Thanks to all who took part in our previous 'bridge' challenge.

This week, I heard someone mention that they had been 'sold a lemon'. That got me wondering what images our SFTW team would make with such a subject. So here we are, I've  supplied the lemons, what can you make with them?

The “rules”:

• Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry.
• Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc.
• Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”.
• There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off your skills, or bring a bit of humor and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
• The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.

To download the image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).

When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.

I had something totally different in mind but came up with lemonhead before the next SFTW appears.

There is still almost a week to go before the next SFTW: the weekends last a fortnight here (and may reappear later as bubbles in the space time continuum).

@davescm no worries at all. I saw the challenge when it first came out, but had to think what I wanted to do! Originally, I was trying to make a the wheels of lemons on a yellow Volkswagen Bug or a Ford Pinto...but I didn't like the look of it!

LOL😄 yeah I miss those commercial. They tried to remake them a few a number of years ago but naturally it just wasn't the same.

Coincidentally one of our stray kitties is called Mickey, but I nick named him Mikey since he likes everything and has an appitite like a black hole. 😁

And the other is my last name 'Chow' .... from Cat Chow, Dog Chow, Chow Mein, Chow Chow....you name it I heard it....

@PaintedKitty oddly enough, I also became an instructor after working as a graphic designer for 20 years...and I tell my students to call me Michael...NOT Mr. Chow as that's my dad! Well, I was out with my wife and two kids at a restaurant, and I thought I heard Mr. Chow, Mr. Chow...but, kinda ignored it. And then someone said Michael Chow...and for whatever reason, I looked up, and he was staring down at me and said: Don't you remember me...am your student!?

I did, but took me a few seconds...and he laughed, and said, wow, you weren't joking on the Mr. Chow dig!
