Something for the Weekend - Part 237 - Pot luck!

Thanks to all who took part in our last 'Pi' challenge.

This week I was digging around in a components drawer and came across this small potentiometer, which is used to vary voltage, or current, in an electrical circuit. However, I know that your creative imagination can put it to a much wider use. What can you make with it?

The “rules”:

• Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry.
• Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc.
• Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”.
• There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off your skills, or bring a bit of humor and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
• The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.

To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).

When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.

I  need to know what this potentiometer is adjusting?  If it was roptation speed, and it was turned up to eleven, would we all be hurled off into space?  That would definitely be classed as an 'end of spieces' event.

I think you may well have sneaked AI in there Dean 🙂 He has some strange appendages and a curious number of fingers, but who is to say that is not correct 🙂

Dean, I have always assumed that 'you' are an Ai creation.  I need to show us a picture of your hands if you want to dispel that rumour.  Have you got one of you wrestling a Saltie? 

Blimmen heck!   I just checked salties on Wikipedia.  The can grow up to 20 feet long, and weigh up to 3300lbs.  That is insane.   Not even Paul Hogan could get one that big in a full Nelson hold!

Ha! Thanks, @davescm. I've been working on this warrior sculpture for a few years. It's made up of things I've found on walks. I really need to finish it and mount it so I can hang it up!

I see something in that image that reminds me of a certain TV movie I saw as a kid. I think it was a Disney movie. I remember I heard a Pee Wee Herman voice with one of the characters.
