Something for the Weekend - Part 244 - Electric Avenue

Hi,

Thanks to everyone who posted images in our 'Stoned' challenge. It is amazing what came from a few pebbles on a beach.

This week we have 'Electric Avenue', but not the Eddy Grant single from the 1980's (although you might have that in your head for the rest of the day).  Instead, we start with a piece of circuit board. When I saw it I thought of a night view of city streets from above, hence the title, but of course you may see the same or something completely different. Whatever it is - post it here.

The “rules”:

  • Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry.
  • Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc.
  • Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”.
  • There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off your skills, or bring a bit of humor and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
  • The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.

To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).

When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.

Have fun!

Dave

Clever use of the capacitor, Jacob, and the start of a story to boot. 🙂

I wasn't sure how the small animals would turn out, but they look nice.

FACT: Giraffes only have 7 bones in their necks, same as all mammals, incuding humans.

Night time at the zoo. I didn't know that about giraffes, amazing what you learn here.

@fbeaume good times!
The first on the left (with a big hair) is me playing NES in my brother's game rental store in early 90's.
We had a NES, a Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) and a Super NES. at that time.
I spend many hours playing with my friends, play games on-line today doesn't have the same emotion.

How big was this circuit board Dave?

I hope people appreciate what must have gone into getting it sharp front to back.

I could have gone on with this for hours...

Photoshop focus stacking I imagine - from my experience three shots would have been sufficiant 🙂

Best regards, Euan.
