Hi,
Thanks to everyone who posted images in our 'Stoned' challenge. It is amazing what came from a few pebbles on a beach.
This week we have 'Electric Avenue', but not the Eddy Grant single from the 1980's (although you might have that in your head for the rest of the day). Instead, we start with a piece of circuit board. When I saw it I thought of a night view of city streets from above, hence the title, but of course you may see the same or something completely different. Whatever it is - post it here.
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

The concept is a bit foggy.

I like the way the bars (if they are bars) widen at the top and bottom as does their shadow. It fits well.

At last I get a flying car, I've been waiting since the 60's!

Great idea! I love the subtitle. I know people who'd love to have a flying car, and not just for weekend getaways.

I love this Dave. What a nice idea, and what a great movie.

Thanks guys. The car is available on Adobe 3D assets, I coloured it very quickly in Substance Painter then rendered it. The rest is Photoshop.

Thanks for that Dave. It's something I have not thought to use before now. I'll ask YouTube for help on applying materials with Substance, but can I worry you for some help if I get stuck?
I have been using SketchFab to grab 2D screen shots of 3D models. You can rotate etc. to match the perspective of the image you want to to paste it into, and with Remove Background being so good now, it really is a huge time saver. The database appears to be massive, but I expect the Adobe substance site is is bigger.

I love the slot that opens in his head so he can get charged up, Trevor!

An astonishing performance by a most supple and fast fellow, Trevor. Obviously, I had to halt it to see the board properly.
I hope we shall still have the opportunity to enjoy your frame animations as well.

Nice! The fire is good and the fire engine attempting to put it out fits very well. 🙂

I think the fire truck needs new batteries, but I love the fire effect. It fits that capacitor perfectly, and flame sizes are scaled nicely. I love how you have wrapped the flames around and behind the capacitor as well. An all round nicely done job.

At first I wasn't sure whether it was a race car parade lap, but I looked closer and they are floats with motor-cycle outriders. I like it Leslie 🙂
