Hi,
Thanks to all who submitted images in our previous album cover challenge. There were some great ideas and great covers.
This week we start with 4 simple fruit. You can use one or all of them in creating a new image. The only limit is your imagination, how far can you take it?
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

Nice one Kevin. I wonder how many of us developed a thirst for something alcoholic after seeing your image. My wife loves a margarita, but I hate anything with gin in it. I do love a Piña colada, always with a Del Boy umbrella and slice of pineapple. 😉 Blimey! That looks disgusting!

There isn't any gin in a margarita, Trevor. It's tequila!

That came from a hasty assumption Jane. Chris likes a margarita, and I often see her with a salted rim. Apparently the gin cocktails she drinks have feijoa juice.

I'm no mixologist, but I wouldn't give anyone that drink without a hue/saturation adjustment layer first.

Gen Fill for the shop front and (I think) Nano Banana (NB) to change the name above to Sunderland. That is a cool feature. Make a very loose selection and a simple prompt like 'Change the text to Sunderland'. It makes the change an retains the style perfectly. Note that I did not use all caps in the prompt, but NB used caps anyway, because the original text was all caps.
The most interesting thing about extending the traffic light was the perspective. I did that using Lazy Nezumi Pro's Vanishing Lines preset to create guide lines, but you can see I did not get it perfect. 😞 If you use LNP mainly for line smoothing, you should absolutely check out its other presets.

I like the shop, Trevor, but that is my kind of traffic light - all green! 🙂
Thanks for including some of the steps you used, it is always good to see how people approach a challenge.

Jacob, I have stolen your idea. This is Vio3 via Firefly and 800 credits. Not great juggling animation, and I had to trim the start and end poinst to get anywhere close to a looping animation.

I didn't know I had those skills, Trevor 🙂

A couple of points with using Vio3.
In this case the live video is the central area, and nearly all of the Storm Troopers are painted on a matte.
I'm thinking this would give you maximum impact for minimal credits use. A useful thing if you do not have a full subscription, limited credits. It would also be an interesting and fun project, and one that I will defitely be having a go at.

Nice idea Jacob, I hope she doesn't bruise the fruit.

Thank you, Dave.
She is most gentle with the fully ripe one snitched from the lemon sale on 219 SFTW Street.

The trick is now to find our lemons and limes. 🙂

Dave, I believe our plucker is just about to discover not only gravity (almost) like Newton did but also a sensational citrus hybridization repetition (maybe a Key lime nearby).

All those lemons and one line. It's like where's waldo. Love this!

My first foray into Nano Banana is a lemon.
