Thanks to all who participated in our previous, Halloween based, challenge. There were some great ideas and images shared. This week we have something different.
'One hundred and eighty', the highest score with three darts, became famous for the way it was called out by Russ Bray, a professional referee with a unique style to his declaration of the score. So this week, I bring you three darts (actually a 3D render). What will you make with them, 180 or something else entirely?
The “rules”:
To download the starter image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser). It is rendered with a transparent background so no need to create an initial mask.
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!

I wondered how it would end, but I didn't think of an intergalactic darts match! 🙂

Ye olde darts crier...
A dart from the SFTW starter image turned into a brush and combined with Photoshop's brush symmetry.

I had to zoom in to see the dart, Dave. Very clever and nicely executed!

I love it all Dave, but that detail in the eye is amazing. People really need to click to view this full size.

Thanks guys. It is a while since I'd played with brush symmetry. A nice trick is to use multiple path reflection lines so that a single brush stroke results in multiple brush strokes on the canvas. With curved paths, some nice effects can emerge. 🙂

Well done Dave. Was going to try a dart pattern but could not have achieved what you have done 🙂

The limbs look like they came from Micky Mouse, except Micky has white gloves.
We'll forgive the grumpy face seeing as some one has used him as a dart board.

A nice character, and suitably grumpy considering where the darts landed! 🙂

It's either a weapon or, to me, would suit a set of strings for the new lead guitarist in the jellyfish band.

Seems too happy to be a weapon.
