Sonoma 14.0 causes marquee / transform tool to mismatch outline to placed objects in Vanishing Point

Since updating to OS 14.0 Sonoma, Photoshop places objects in Vanishing Point with the Marquee or Transform Tool dotted lines smaller than the placed object. If you click within the dotted lines, you can still transform (reduce size for instance) but the object moves WAY outside the dotted lines, making it difficult to place and adjust the object. I have tried this in PS 2022, 2023 & 2024 and they all behave the same way. New OS bug? Or is there a setting I don't know about? Help! Just to add another detail... if the object to be placed is large, the marquee displacment is so far off that the object is out of frame while you're trying to place and adjust it. Untenable.Screenshot 2023-10-18 at 12.50.23 PM.png

Okay, one more thing that's kind of related but maybe should be separate... when you open Vanishing Point, the screen is cropped and you can't adjust its size. The only way to see what you're doing is to hit command / minus to reduce the subject to fit... which then gets so small that the transform tool is reduced beyond when you can select the whole thing to move it. You're stuck with only being able to select the corner points, which messes with the size and proportion.Screenshot 2023-10-18 at 12.48.02 PM.png

Hi @vanetc there are numerous reports of issues related to Sonoma and GPU/UI previews.

The only option at this time is to downgrade (painfully) to Ventura or wait and hope Apple or Adobe releases a fix.

Right now, the ball seems to be in Apple's court as the previews resolve on airplay screens, etc. pointing towards an OS issue.

Ouch! Thanks Kevin. It’s good to know it’s not just me or my machine!

Best regards,
