Space bar doesn't give me the hand tool

I'm going nuts ever since the space bar won't gove me the hand tool anymore. I'm using Photoshop 25.6, Mac OS Ventura, Mac Studio.

@Marijke_van_Endhoven Open the Mac OS Keyboard Viewer (System settings/Keyboard/Input Sources/Edit)

Then open the keyboard viewer in the menu bar.

Click (dont type) the space bar a bunch of times and try again.

We've had this on both Ventura and Sonoma - once you do this the issue did not come back.

Thanks Kevin, I have done that. I also read somewhere that quitting other apps might help so I tried that as well and things are working again. Very strange as this was never an issue.

@Marijke_van_Endhoven if you have MS Office, I haven't seen the space bar be affected but I have had other shortcuts overridden if I open Office products first (excel, word, etc).
