Hi everyone,

I need some help please. My Spot Healing Brush Tool isn't working properly. For example, if I would like to remove a hair from the face, when I use the Spot Healing Brush it would just draw the little circles and I can not draw the line. It takes ages to remove it.

Is it something to do with the settings?? Sorry I am very new in Photoshop.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi

Can you confirm you are using the spot healing brush and not the healing brush (they look similar)

With the spot healing brush selected add a new empty layer and set the tool options as shown

Then brush over the hair

Which should be removed when you release the mouse button

Hi Rimas

Do the dots look like this?

If they do, then right-click the tool in the options bar (not the Tools panel) and choose Reset tool. As Dave says, first confirm that you have the correct tool.
