Step Backward Issue

When i step backward Ctrl/Alt/Z in Ps i get this. Can someone please explain what's going on?

As you have mentioned that after pressing  Ctrl/Alt/Z(step backward) when you click on the File menu, it doesn't populate the dropdown menu properly. I would recommend you to reset the preference and re-launch the Adobe Photoshop CC.

It looks like you are using a windows machine, here is the location for preference: -  Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC (version) /Adobe Photoshop CC (version) Settings.

Please rename "Adobe Photoshop CC (version) Settings"  folder to "Adobe Photoshop CC (version) Settings.old" and make sure you close Adobe Photoshop CC before renaming "Adobe Photoshop CC (version) Settings" folder.
