Strange shape border while transforming a rectangle shape

Question

I am experiencing a strange behaviour of a rectangle shape, when I try to transform it.

1) I placed the rectangle shape inside a group together with one other image.

2) I transformed the group, which contained the rectangle shape and the image.

(NOTE: Steps 1 and 2 are NOT recorded in the video.)

3) After that, I want to transform the rectangle shape and I experience strange behaviour = the element border does not respect the element border nor the pixel grid. (See the attached video.)

I have the Snap vectors to the pixel grid option checked in the Preferences.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?
I've been experiencing this only in the last few months, I had never experienced it before. (Some PS update, maybe?)

Hi Sameer, thank you for your reply.I tested this in the Photoshop 2024 v25.0 as you suggested, but unfortunately I experience the same behaviour.Important to know:- I have Snap vectors to the pixel grid checked, as I stated before- I have Use Legacy Free Transform checked as wellNow I noticed when the issue appears - please see me resize the rectangle twice and see the pictures: 1) I check the fixed pixel ratio option in the top PS menu. After that, I hold Alt and resize the rectangle. Works correctly.2) I don't check the fixed pixel ratio option in the top PS menu. After that, I hold Alt+Shift and resize the rectangle. This is when the problem appears.Therefore, I suggest that in combination with Use Legacy Free Transform, the behaviour still needs to be fixed - is that correct?
