Stroke between high contrast areas to give outline and internal lines

Hi, I am using Photoshop to create a logo and have decided to use the bevel and emboss, hard chisel on my text. The thing is, I don't really want shading on the bevel and emboss, rather I want lines to divide up the high contrast edges (to get a trace of the inner edges of the text, as well as the outer ones). I am struggling to find help with this one. Can anyone help?

You might be able to use Stylize > Find Edges, but a lot will depend on the settings for B&E and the colors of the text and background.

You might be able to use Stylize > Find Edges

Ideally applied as a Smart Filter (on a Smart Object containing the element with the Layer Style).

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible and a sketch to illustrate what you want to achieve (or link to an example)?

I have tried using the find edges filter and have got great results. Thank you to all those who contributed to this thread. Much appreciated.
