Stroke effect not changing text color

Hey Adobe Community! So, I am trying to add a stroke, outer glow and drop shadow effect to some letters and I acomplish the effects, however, when I try to change the colors of this effects it does not change the colors. It just stays white. What am I doing wrong or what am I not pressing? I will leave some screensshots so you get an idea of what I am talking about. Thank you all ahead of time!
