Stroke Layer Style Bug : Photoshop (Filling part of the image when "inner" option is selected)

Hello;

 

I am having an issue adding an inner stroke to an image. I set the background color to black to show the image has no transparency. When the inner stroke is added to the image it applies a weird fill color to some of the pixels. 

 

Note: This only happens to the artwork created in multiple layers and merged at the end. Again the merge layer has no transparency. See the video capture below:

Hi there,

 

We are sorry about the issue you are facing while applying a stroke to the file.

 

Would you mind confirming the version of Photoshop you are using by going to the Help menu > System Info? Also, which operating system are you using?

 

You can try to disable the option to Use Graphics Processor by going to the Preferences for Photoshop, then select Performance and uncheck the option to Use Graphics Processor. Then quit and relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

I tried it with 2 different versions of the app: 21.0.1 & 20.0.7. 

 

- MacOS Mojave (10.14.6)

- MacBook Pro

- 2.3 GHz Intel Core i9

- 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

- Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB

- Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
