Stroke Path Pen tool give error with Spot Healing Brush

Question

For the past year, or so, trying to stroke a path with the pen tool using the spot healing brush option just gives an error stating: "Could not use the *HEALING BRUSH* because the area to clone has not been defined..."

I'm using the Spot Healing Brush, so I don't need to define an area. If I click, I get the default "no need to click, cuz it's the spot healing brush" error.

Can this issue be fixed, please? Thank you.

What version of macOS and Photoshop are you using?

From within Photoshop go to Help>System Info to see the Adobe Photoshop Version.

If rather than use the Stroke Path dialog you instead have your active path, then select the Spot Healing Brush Tool in the Tools Panel and press the enter/return key, does that work?
