Question

Stupid dashed grid lines

How do I reset my grid in Photoshop when I use the short cut - command ' to what I had before. With the recent Photoshop update I get these stupid dashed lines in between the major divisions. I've tried going to preferences/grids but there is no longer any way to control the minor division segments of the grid. They show white dashed lines now and this is extremely annoying because I can't see my image below to know where I have to correct it. Why does Adobe think that all their changes to new versions of Photoshop are improvements? They are not.

This new version of Photoshop is so full of bugs I can't even begin to list all I have found. This thing sucks!

Hi,

I am not sure, may be Grids are shown. Therefore,  you can try to hide these grid from View -> Show -> Grids. Here is the screenshots for the reference.

Let us know if this works for you.

You misunderstand. I know how to turn them on and off. I use the
shortcut - command ' - on my Mac. I use the grids to correct my
verticals. Previously, before the update, I could control the color and
style of the minor divisions but now I can't. I can only control the
major divisions in the preferences. This is extremely annoying. I don't
want these minor divisions to be white nor do I want them to be dashed
lines. I want solid lines and the ability to change the color. I had
this set before the update. Now they are totally unusable to me. Now the
white dashed lines overwhelm my ability to see my verticals in my image
below.
