The Spring loaded tool feature works to disable now, but at one point it wasn't that easy. I'm just describing my frustrating journey of having a photoshop subscription, paying every month but when updating photoshop there is a 50/50 chance something breaking or worsen from my regular workflow, which is why I still have 22.2 since that version I know doesn't have issues for me.
