Hi, I recently purchased a HP pavilion touch screen 360 laptop(turns into tablet mode) for better use of PhotoShop. I am trying to use my stylus instead of a mouse to edit images and it is not working for my spot healing brush. Why? Could someone help me find out why or answer me if its supposed to work.
Thanks, Tiffany
Stylus or Pen. A stylus is a one finger substitute. Photoshop supports touch gestures not finger painting. You need a computer with pen support to paint with a pen using Photoshop. There are drawing application the you can paint in using touch.
Photoshop Brush tools support Pen not touch.

There is no "finger paint mode" vs styles to turn on in the setting of a touch screen computer. I think you mean active styles. As to why PS does not support a stylus, it really should be a bug not an excuse.

Your touch display does not have the required hardware support it does not report you finger stylus pressure and tilt or the implanted buttons in you finger stylus or report you using its erase end. Photoshop brushes do not have touch control settings they work with pen and mouse type devices.
