Everything appears to work fine in the print module, however, after hitting the print button, the file goes to the Epson driver, where it briefly appears, then quickly disappears. If I use Apple Preview, everything prints fine. I restarted computer, then downloaded and replaced the driver in System Preferences>Printers & Scanners. Still doesn't work. I called Epson, they said it is a problem in Photoshop. Any ideas? I've got a lot of printing to do. Thanks for any help.

On the Mac, what does the print queue dialog say?
does your Epson have a print queue that you can view? -- usually its viewed through web browser
In Photoshop, when the print dialog comes up, check your "Print settings..." make sure all of those are what they should be.
Failing that you could open a bunch of images in Acrobat and print from there. Acrobat will combine the files into 1 PDF.
I'm not sure this is the best option, but if you are in a pinch, it will get the job done.

Try holding the space bar when you go to print - it will reset the print dialog box.
What version Epson driver are you using?

The print queue never forms. The printing job briefly appears in the Driver dialog box, then quickly disappears. Thanks for the pdf tip, I may have to give that a try.

Well I held the space bar down when hitting the print button. Made no difference. Is this what you mean?
Am using the current driver: 12.62

Something is continuing to be very whacky. Inexplicably, I was able to correctly print a Moab note card. I deleted and created a new preset for 8.5X11". No help. Tried it through the manual rear feed. No. Then tried the Moab again, and it printed it cropped weirdly. What the heck is going on? Should say, last night there was a power outtage. Printer was not turned on but was connected to my desktop, which was turned on.

DigDog, Okay I did as you said: reinstalled the driver 12.62 for the umpteenth time and trashed NetConfig which I never used anyway. This seems to work, but odd things are still happening. For one, the Moab cards are printing but the centering is significantly off. I guess this is a problem for Epson. The other odd thing is that I'm trying to run a cleaner sheet through the auto sheet feeder by printing a white document. (I have a normal photograph open and have added a white layer above). This will simply not register in the print queue. Exhibits behavior as i described: briefly appears, then disappears, and the printer doesn't print it. If I remove the white layer, it will print as normal.

Sometimes the computer tries to be "smart" and figures you don't actually want to print a blank page.
that might be whats happening

chrisg, that's what i was thinking, i first tried to print a transparent document. When it wouldn't do that, i changed it to white. Maybe should try a low opacity normal print. Let me do that. Also, discovered that my centering problems were due to the document size/res being somehow changed. It wasn't me that did the changing (that i know of), so... go figure.

When I need to send a "cleaning" page through - your Epson printer should have one built in through the printer itself or the Epson software. If you want to send a blank page through - add 1 px dot of gray so there is pixel information on the page before sending. White or transparent will not work.
