Surface Pro 4 not working in Photoshop 21.1.2 Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Question

Adobe Photoshop Version: 21.1.2
Surface Pro 4 - refurbished (?)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
 
Windows updated, Photoshop updated
I installed Photoshop on the Surface Pro to play with it and the pen wouldn't pair with the tablet.
 
BUT, it worked fairly decent in Photoshop, enough that I edited one photo for a client and was pleased.
 
I shut the machine down and when I went back was able to pair the pen.
 
And now it doesn't work at all in Photoshop.
 
Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

If you your surface pen will not pair to your Microsoft Surface pro 4 make sure the batteries are good in the pen. If they are contact Microsoft  support for help and service.  If it worked it had to have paired??? Photoshop only support touch screen gestures you can not use Photoshop tools like brush tool with  Touch screen support.  Check the batteries.
