Hi community.

Is there a method in PS, when exporting SVG files, to be able to copy the SVG code? This is a method done in Figma, but I would like to know if there's a way to be done in PS. Or can SVG code be done in Illustrator. Any tutorials or links much appreciated.

For further reference this is what I'd like to be able to do. but in Photoshop if possible.

Thank you.

Yes, this is easy in Illustrator, a vector application.

  • Save As > SVG > Save
  • In the next dialog, click the button for "SVG Code"
I'm on a Mac and it opens in TextEdit. Windows may use Notepad
