Swapping heads manually in PS 2024 - not seeing ha way with this new version

New Here ,

I'm often called upon to photograph groups and I've always been able to select the best images, enough with all the "good" open eyed faces and open them in PS, marquee, move, lower opacity, resize, swivel and erase, move opacity to 100% and flatten. Hopefully some of you know what I mean. Well, since upgrading to PS 2024, Layers doesn't show on my side bar and I'm lost as to how to now do some head swapping on two jobs I have cleints waiting for delivery. Soes any one know how to best tackle my new issue?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
