Switch default back to color picker?!
I was looking at color libraries in PS recently and now every time i go to open the color picker i get sent to color libraries. How on earth do i switch the default back to the picker?!
I’ll assume you already tried clicking the Picker button when it’s in Color Libraries mode, because I tried that and it didn’t stick.
But I figured out a way to make it work, see if this works for you…step 3 seems to be the key:
1. Open the Color Picker.
2. Click the Picker button.
3. Change the color, to anything else. Just make some kind of change.
4. Click OK.
In other words, what didn’t work is clicking Picker and then clicking OK. Photoshop seems to need a new color selected in the default picker before the Picker setting sticks.
