Switching beween lasso tools broken?

Normally, when using the lasso tool in Photoshop you can hold option (Mac) to switch between the normal lasso and polygon tools, however this function seems to not be working?

Holding option has no effect. When using the polygon tool and holding option it switches to the lasso tool, but doesn't seem to work the other way around.

Using the recently updated CC version.

Any ideas?

hi,

are you holding the option key and then CLICKING? Unfortunately holding the option key alone does not change the icon.... but when using the lasso, if you press and hold OPTION key and then click, then you will see the icon change and the tool will change to polygonal lasso. This works the exact same way when going from the polygonal lasso to the lasso tool.

Hi

It's working fine on my Windows PC have you tried resetting the Lasso Tool

If that doesn't help try resetting PS preferences
