Switching desktops in Mac with Wacom tablet

I am used to switching desktops on my Mac and with my 5D mouse on my Wacom Tablet it stops me from being able to switch desktops using 4 fingers. Has anyone found an easy way to move between desktops (or custom button on the tablet itself.) I have a Wacom Intous 5 tablet. (want to use lower left button to change windows, not sure how to set that up). When I am in photoshop I want to go to other desktops to get resources often.

The usual way to make any button or control on the stylus or tablet to control something is to map it to that feature’s keyboard shortcut, if the Wacom Tablet preference pane doesn’t already offer a direct way.

For switching macOS Spaces (virtual desktops), the Wacom Tablet preference pane offers an option under the Add Special pop-up menu. This is available for any button on the tablet or stylus when you choose Keyboard > Keystroke for that control.

The catch is that it goes in one direction (e.g. Next Space), so to go back, you probably have to assign Previous Space to a different button. This is not a Wacom bug, it’s how the Previous Space and Next Space keyboard shortcuts work in macOS itself.
