Hi everyone,
Is there any way when using the keyboard shortcut to toggle tools that it only toggles those tools in the toolbar. For example, i have removed the pencil from my toolbar. However, as i use shift-b to cycle through the brushes, the pencil is one of the tools that it toggles through. Is there any way to avoid this?
thanks,
scott

If you choose Edit > Toolbar, does it help if you delete the B key from the Brush tool keyboard shortcut?

Absolutely. If you have removed the pencil from the Toolbar, then there is a check box that prevents the shortcut selecting them.
I do sometimes use the Pencil, but not very often, so I have removed the 'B' shortcut from everything but the Brush tool. That way, I know when I hit the B key I will ALWAYS get the Brush. That's Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts > Tools
Note my yellow highlight above. One of my favourite features is the ability to save custom shortcuts with custom Workspaces. That lets us repurpose the limited shortcuts by context, and that includes custom Toolbar layouts.
One thing I have done for as long as I can remember is remove the Shift Key for toggling Toolbar shortcuts. Why would you use two keys when you can do the same thing with just one?

These are as much of my most used workspace shortcuts as I can fit on my screen. It's so long since I changed to this, that I forget the originals, but Y and O have been swapped to more useful tools regards my workflows.
