I can see the app I want to install (I'm paid up) but it's telling me the system is incompatible

Thankyou for your reply. It was my laptop that needed driver updates etc.

If you're on Windows, you're probably getting a Mac installer. That's happened to a few people lately, and then you get this message. The downloaded installer should be an .exe, not a DMG.

Try a different web browser.

Oh, well spotted Dag.  I passed the OP too quickly and only saw Mac.

Yeah, we got a few of these lately. I don't know where OS recognition fails, whether it's the web browser or the Adobe download site. But it seems using a different browser, whichever that may be, has corrected it in all cases so far.

Hi Veronica.  If your Mac has an earlier version of the operating system, then it might work with an earlier version of Photoshop.  The earliest version still available is 22.2.

Tell us exactly what Mac system you are using, and what version is the Operating System?

@veronicam27392409

Which app do you want to install? You posted to the Photoshop forum, so possibly it's Photoshop? If so, here are the system requirements:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

If your system does not meet them, you can install the previous version and/or PS 2022.2 from the Creative Cloud app.

Does this answer your question? If not, please clarify your issue.

I branched your post from an 8-year-old unrelated thread for you.

Jane
