Tablet Stylus issue

Since 2018 I have used a Huion 610PRO V2 tablet.  Not a single issue after probably 10K hours of use....until yesterday afternoon. I had worked for a couple hours on a 10800X12000px @300PPI. No issues.  I then went into camera raw to make a few test adjustments with exposure, contrast and clarity.  Next I opened presets.  Did not find anything usefull.  Tried to go back to the opening screen in Raw.  No success. Stuck in presets. Even the cancel button at the bottom did not work. After repeated attempts a Microsoft screen appeared asking if I would send an error report and explain what I was doing. Could not write an explanation or send.  Photoshop then crashed (only my second crash in about 2 years).  When I restarted PS my tablet was erratic.  Could not paint.  Brush cursor all over the screen, etc.  I assumed that the Huion driver was corrupted during the crash.  Downloaded the latest Huion driver just be sure I had the latest version.  I then uninstalled the Huion driver, unplugged the tablet and rebooted Win 10. Installed latest driver and plugged the tablet into a USB port. Nothing changed. No way to paint in PS.  Next I tried 2 different USB ports and even changed the USB cord for a new cord and changed the nib on the stylus. Still nothing.  I also verified that the problem exists in Krita.  Multiple Win10 searches for possible issues  led no where.

I realize that this is an Adobe forum.  But I also assume that anyone who works professionally in PS probably uses a pressure sensitive device.  I am out of solutions.  Perhaps another forum member may have experienced the same issue.

Additionally, the Huion driver has a configuration app that allows one to test and adjust stylus sensitivity.  That works perfectly. Full stylus sensitivity.

I am using 25.1.0

Check the "Support TabletPC" box in the current Huion Driver?

If it was already checked then reset your photoshop prefs.

My post stated that the tablet also became erratic in Krita. Explain how resetting preferences in Photoshop would correct the issue in Krita. Painting in Photoshop and Krita (and other apps I use which all became usuable immediately after the Photoshop crash while in cameran raw).  Resetting Photoshop preferences has nothing to do this problem.

My settings are correct in the Huion app.

You are not exactly helping yourself.  We are just other users the same as yourself, who spend hours a day helping folk because we love the Adobe applications.  You need to play nicely if you hope to attract people to your thread.
