Task bar icon retrieval

I had a accident yesterday when going to open my Photoshop 2024. My mouse collided with the edge of my keyboard causing me to click the mouse before directly over the PS icon on the tool bar at the bottom of my moniter screen. The PS icon disappeared. A larger double click type icon was not installed when I upgraded to 2024. I cannot open PS although it is still installed. Anyone know how toretrieve the tool bar icon and maybe get the double click one on the left side of my screen so this does not happen again?

@johnc75601367 you can right click on the Adobe Photoshop 2024 from the Start Menu and select Pin to Taskbar
"maybe get the double click one on the left side of my screen so this does not happen again" not sure what you mean by this bit, are you referring to a desktop icon
You can also create a desktop icon from the same menu

anywhere to click on to pin, I checked and it is still installed. It is on
my computer, I just cannot access it.
What I mean by the "double click Icons" on the left side of my screen is
when on my desktop I have things like my internet Icon, the trash barrel.
Photoshop Publisher (old, but still works perfectly), the access icon to my
Malwarebytes. Adobe Lightroom and other icons I can double click on to open
what I need. There isn't one and never has been one since uploading the
Photoshop 2024. Mine is not the beta, but the one they just released. I am
an artist and some of my production is now at a stand still due to all my
material being accessed on Photoshop.
I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you,
John
