Text breaks / hyphenations not working

Somehow, the text that is cut off suddenly in the textbox doesn't show the dash anymore, I really need this...

Hyphenate is ON.

I'm on version 24.7

    Open Window > Paragraph Styles, create new style and change Hyphenation to: Words Longer Then 3 letters, for example. That should solve your problem. You must apply newly created paragraph style, by the way.
