Question

Text distorting in Photoshop when rotating

Hi, I am trying to rotate text to use on a print without it distorting.

I have tried converting layer to a smart object and rasterizing type but neither of these are

working,

It seems like such a basic thing but never encountered this before - I'm using PS2020 in

Windows if that makes a difference.

Any ideas?

"Hi, I am trying to rotate text to use on a print without it distorting."

It seems you are doing something wrong. Beside posting screenshot, can you explain steps taken and commands/options used?

Text layers or rasterized text. Transform can also Distort and Warp in addition. Rotation and scaling layers is not all transform can do. Exactly what and how are you rotating text.  Only vector  smart object are  transformed via vector graphics Smart Object are normally resized via interpolation.  Text layer converted to Smart Objects are not vector smart objects.  Vector smart objects are placed Vector files like .SVG and .AI

Rotating Text layers should rotate via vector graphics.

Could you please post screenshots taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

That would make vector output impossible.
