I use a template for an advert, the funny thing is that text input works ok, exept when I enter some characters.

example: I enter "and much more" and I want to put some ... at the end of more so > And much more....  the result is that when I enter the dots it skips to the beginning and there is no possibiklity that I end with .... So the result is ...and much more

the same with phone numbers, I cannot enter +34 678902222 it results in +6789022234

I think it has something to do with arabic, hindi or whatever design of the template.

Sorry, but I have I no idea where to start.

just FYI, other templates works fine, no issues with my pc etc. only this template (I use an psd template in cc2019

many thanks for pointing me in a direction.

Hi Tomv,

That does not sound like a typical experience, let's make it right.

As the text is typing in both directions could you please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop by following the video here and let us know if it helps? Preferences in Photoshop

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Regards,
Sahil

ok, typing in both directions is maybe not really the case, but it seems like that.

Even copy paste doesn't work.

Your options seems a bit drastic since it ONLY happen in this one template

Hmm, that's strange. Like you said I think it might have something to do with the language or the font? Sahil.Chawla: the text in the document tab (just below the Type settings in the Options bar) is correct.
