Text to shape adds a outline

I've started experiencing an issue converting text to outlines after the latest update. It seems to add a stroke that I can't remove. It's not added as a stroke and even if you colour overlay the stroke still remains. Any help would be appreciated.

How are you converting text to outline. If the shape is stroked turn it off.
