I might be missing something, but earlier when I started up my photoshop my shortcut presets had changed and were back to original even though they said that they were set to my usual keybinds. I fixed that, but now my eraser shortcut isn't working nor can I find the eraser at all.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hey @cashbro! 👋 Welcome to the community!
Could you share a bit more about the issue you're facing? What version of Photoshop are you using? If you could share screenshots of your keybinds, that would be super helpful.
You might also want to try resetting your Photoshop preferences. This will return the app to its default state and can help if something went wrong with your preferences file. Just make sure to create a backup beforehand so you don't lose your keybinds again.
Thanks a bunch!
Alek

A good call Jane. I wonder if just resetting the Workspace would fix it? (so long as it is the default Essentials)

It's worth a try, Trevor!
