Question

This is driving me mad!

Hi all,

I posted something similar to this issue a while ago but have not solved the problem, so trying again.

For some strange reason I'll be working on an image in Photoshop (latest version), or I'll open Photoshop and my workspace has changed, my plugin panels are gone, plugins are not listed in the plugins menu. Hitting reset workspace doesn't work. If I then connect to Adobe cloud and it opens I check that my plugins/panels are installed and then go back to Photoshop. Then, here's the mystery, all of a sudden my panels/plugins are open and bunched together on the left side of the interface. If I then click reset workspace everything is good. Resetting Photoshop preferences did work once, but I'm at a loss to understand what's going on here. My PC is working fine with everything else, no malware/viruses etc. Not sure if one of my plugin panels is to blame. Any help/suggestions welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Which OS version?

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults recently?

Hi Derek,

Windows 10, 32GB ram, 339GB on C drive available. I reset preferences, but issue still occurs.  Cheers.

I've attached a screen grab to show how it looks when the panels/plugins do appear. Note that the Lumenzia plugin splash screen always appears, so wondering if that may play a part in it. I've contaced the owner of the plugin.

Have you thought of temporarily uninstalling the plug-in to see if it's the thing that's causing the issue. It would also be worth contacting Lumenzia to see if they have any suggestions.

Yes, I've contacted the owner of the plugin. Waiting to hear back. Meanwhile his website advises that it's not necessary to uninstal it if you think it's the issue...just closing it is fine, as the code does not start up until you open the plugin. I also contaced Adobe who were able to see my screen grab and suggested it was the plugin. We'll see what happens.
