Tips to take white edge off pasted image.

Hello, Mac user here and beginner.

Can someone please help me with tips on how to make this image (the woman) I have cut and pasted onto the black background.

I want to lose the bit of white around her from where I wasn't able to cut it nicely with the Quick selection tool.

I tried playing around with Feathering but not sure if there is a better way or something completely different.

Many thanks.

Rather than attrempt to solve the problem created during silhouetting, consider that there may be a way to get the work done so that there is no white edge to deal with. Please post the unsilhouetted version of the image and we will try to help you.
