Annoying 'feature' using Edit>Distort on a selection is giving me a little black readout flag of angular change as I move a corner.

Failed - so far - to discern where this can be disabled, hoping other user(s) can direct my attention?

I want to see the pixels I'm pushing, not a black flag telling me how much I've moved 'em, that just gets in the way.

Preferences? They don't exist anymore, it's 'Settings' now:

Any hint under which 'Setting' those transformation values are lurking?

Well, it's still preferences in Windows.

Either way, it's under Tools.

TOOLS has 17 settings, one of which is Show Transformation Values; under that lurks NEVER which I trust is what I'm gonna try next! Thnx for your comments here D Fosse!

BTW under Settings>General there's a Use Legacy Transform option, which I'll soon be exploring also.
