Hi all,

I have recently installed Photoshop onto my PC (runs on windows 10). As you can see in the image, the top menu bar (file, edit, layer, filter etc) does not appear and is just a black bar. Neither does any of the maximise/minimise or exit buttons on the app's windows. This is a nuicance and I cannot use photoshop properly because of it. Due to circumstances I need photoshop to run well on my laptop as I have a very large and important school assignment that needs to be completed and a portfolio to make for my University application. Any help is appreciated!

Cheers!

Hi

Close Photoshop and try going to this location and deleting the "Adobe Photoshop 2020 Prefs" file

C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Adobe Photoshop 2020 Settings

HEllo, if the preferences fix does not work, try to check if you do not have conflicting GPU drivers, see step 7 in this help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html#GPUandgraphicsdrivertrouble...
