Just updated to PS 26.0.0
When i go to scale a layer with layer styles, I feel there is a bug.
When I individaully select the layer with style, the transform box is fine. (Pic 1)
When i select 2 layers, the transform box is the size of the comp and doesnt anchor around the actual sizes of the layers like before. (Pic 2)
However when I flatten the layer with styles and select 2 layers, the transform box works like its suppsoed to. (Pic 3)
Am i just missing something? this never happened before. HELP!

My hunch is this has something to do with in image 2, the layer is a Smart Object with some Adjustment Layers applied maybe?
Does the Smart Filter mask have any painting in it perhaps?
I wasn't able to reproduce this in my own attempt at testing, so it might be useful if we could get a copy of a PSD shared here to take a better look.

PG

Thanks pete! I thought about that but ive been working with this psd file before i updated versions. so yesterday it was scaling fine. then i upgraded this morning and came across this issue. Funny enough though. I restarted PS and now it is working the way its supposed to. so not sue what to say now. i know since the update there is now a thin highlited box that follows your layers when you hover over or select them, which is new. so maybe it was getting confused with what layers were being selected? i dont know. I dont want to say its solved yet just in case others run across the issue. im still playing around. and unfortuanately i cant share the psd due to company policy. thanks for your input.
