Transform information specifically, scale.

I need to keep track of when I scale an object. For example when i scale an object 300%, sometimes I forget to keep track or I may make more changes, I need to mark down that scale resize on my reports. However, the transform tool resets the object to 100% after I commit to the transform and I have to somehow figure out the correct scale resize. Is there an easier way to know what I scale resized an image object to after i commit to a transform adjustment?
