Question

Transformation tool will not display a box around object after latest update

After doing the latest update the transform tool has TOTALLY changed - its awful -

now there is no 'box' around the object when transforming - even when I turn on "show transformation tool"

I have tried everything - I reset the tool, I updated my preferences - but nothing

All it is showing is a small pink circle in the middle of the object when I use CTRL+T on a layer to transform it.

I had to revert the update back one version.

This is a nightmare.

    Hi

Try enabling this option in preferences and restarting Photoshop to see if it fixes the issue

First off: There is no »Transformation Tool« in Photoshop, ctrl-T/cmd-T by default invoke the Free Transform, but that is not a »Tool«.

What are the image’s Color Mode and bit depth?

Please post a screenshot including the pertinent Panels (Options, Layers, …) to illustrate.
