Hi everyone I am trying to make an example of how I want an ad to look so I can place it in a classified paper. The ad size will be 2 x 2 and I don't know what size I need to make either the canvas size or the if I need to make the image 2 x 2. Below is just some of what I am trying to fit in the ad. So far there is no more room with the size I have made the image. So should I make the image 2 x 2 or the canvas 2 x 2? I already know that the font type for the words Finger Lakes Shipping Outlet is not incorporated in my text layer for those words because I used that font that was installed on another computer. I am also trying to make the image of the printer a vector so it isn't pixelated if it is resized by the creative team making the ad for the paper.

                                                                                                                                                                                    Thanks for any help,

                                                                                                                                                                                                  Brian

When you create a new document, make the canvas size 2 inches by 2 inches.

Then place the images you need to work with on the image, and scale them to fit.

Add the text.

If you save as a Photoshop PDF, the text will be vector, but not the images (like the large printer).

To minimize pixelization when scaling images, convert the image to a smart object layer before scaling. You can do that by right-clicking the layer.

If this needs to be printed in newspaper you should design this in illustrator so that its not pixelated after printing.
