Turn OFF autohide

If I turn off "Auto-Show Hidden Panels" in Preferences > Workspace, everything just disappears.  I want them to not disappear at all -- I want to just be able to see my workspace, image preview, palets, layers all the time without having to move the cursor all the way to the right of the screen and hold it over my workspace to be able to see my workspace.

Press the TAB key? No expert, but ran into the same issue I think. That solved it for me. Seems it's a feature to hide everything quickly and bring it back, but I must have pressed it on accident. Leaving this here ofr others running into this.

This solved it for me thanks. As usual a community expert always forgets the most simple and likely solution.

Please post meaningful screenshots.

Hve you ever set up the desired workspace and saved it (Window > Workspace > New Workspace)?

I've been using Photoshop for years -- I've never had my tool options dissappear and go into "auto-hide" mode before.  They have always just been visable.  I've given Adobe a couple thousand dollars, and have never posted in the forums before, as I've always just rolled with the punches and figured it out, but it has been a couple months since I needed Photoshop, and it's being uncooperative, as usual, but I thought I'd try the forums instead of doing what I usually do and hunt for solutions elsewhere in blogs or whatnot.  I think I have probably found solutions in FAQs, here, but had no luck today, so after being a customer for years, I made a couple posts.  Go ahead and delete this thread -- I'll go back to my usual method.

Thanks for trying to help, this is not for me.
